Editorial policy
How Habiteasy drafts, sources, reviews, corrects, translates, and retires public wellness content.
Purpose
Habiteasy publishes general wellness education that helps readers understand and practise realistic habits. Content must be useful before promotional, respectful, clear about uncertainty, and honest about the limits of general guidance.
Authorship and responsibility
Every article names its author. A named author is responsible for the clarity and integrity of the draft. Arjun M is presented only as Founder of Habiteasy until any additional title, education, certification, or experience is verified for public use.
Evidence approach
Important health guidance should cite an authoritative source close to the relevant claim. Preference is given to Indian public-health bodies, the World Health Organization, recognised guidelines, systematic reviews, and major professional organisations.
- Commercial wellness blogs, supplement sellers, social posts, and AI output are not treated as evidence.
- Association is not described as cause.
- One small study is not used to support a strong general recommendation.
- Uncertainty and limits are stated in plain language.
Health review gate
Content involving disease, pregnancy, medication, children, older adults, eating disorders, or clinical decisions should have an appropriately qualified reviewer. This first public release is founder-authored general education. Pages say clearly that they are not medical advice and that a named clinician has not yet reviewed them.
Dates and review cycle
Articles support a draft or published date, last-reviewed date, next-review date, and material correction note. Review timing depends on the risk and likelihood that guidance changes. A passed date does not mean advice is automatically wrong, but it triggers editorial attention.
Corrections
Readers can report a factual concern through the contact form. Material corrections should show what changed and the date. Typographic fixes that do not alter meaning may be made without a correction note.
Commercial relationships
Sponsorships, affiliate relationships, commissions, gifts, and other conflicts must be disclosed near affected content. The first public release contains no product sales, supplement promotion, paid programme registration, or affiliate recommendations.
AI assistance
AI may assist with research organisation, drafting, translation drafts, generated editorial imagery, code, and quality checks. AI is not a medical reviewer. Health and legal content requires suitable human verification before production publication. Generated imagery is used as illustration and is not presented as a real client or as Arjun.
English and Tamil
The public pages and starter articles are published in English and everyday Tamil Nadu Tamil. Legal pages have a Tamil reading version. A named language reviewer can still improve wording later.
Retiring content
Content that is unsafe, obsolete, duplicative, or impossible to maintain can be retired. Useful replacement guidance and redirects should be provided when available.
